Description
A vintage library card numbered 23322 displays handwritten names and stamped due dates spanning from 1964 to 1965, rendered as a photographic negative with dark navy tones and luminous cyan annotations. The composition captures the worn, utilitarian aesthetic of mid-century institutional documentation, with overlapping ink marks and date stamps creating a layered historical record of borrowed books. At home in a study, office, or for lovers of literary history and vintage ephemera. Made to order by hand at our own Denver facility, it arrives as nine wood panels, each a half-inch thick with a keyhole on the back so it hangs easily. The natural grain shows through the artwork, so no two come out exactly alike.
